CBRE has been named one of the Top Corporations for Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) for 2023 by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This is the only national award that honors corporations for world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth opportunities for women-owned businesses.

CBRE is committed to increasing business opportunities that fuel innovation, enable growth and development and break down barriers for women entrepreneurs. The WBENC evaluates companies’ outreach to and engagement with WBEs, and their supplier diversity programs.

“Our supplier diversity program plays a key role within our greater ESG strategy,” said Rona Fourté, Vice President of Global Supplier Diversity. “We look forward to connecting more WBEs with mutually beneficial business opportunities in the months and years ahead.”

CBRE’s supplier diversity program includes a commitment to mentor, develop and integrate diverse suppliers into the provisioning of products and services for the company and its clients. Supplier diversity enables CBRE to assist its clients in meeting supplier diversity goals, facilitates the success of diverse suppliers, and drives economic impact in underrepresented communities.

In 2020, CBRE pledged to spend at least $3 billion with diverse suppliers by 2025. In 2022, CBRE awarded over $1.5 billion to diverse suppliers for either client or in-company needs. By achieving this goal, CBRE substantially increases its engagement and partnerships with businesses that are certified as owned by underrepresented groups, including racial/ethnic minorities, women, military veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities.
