Cash Smith is President and Chief Financial Officer of CBRE Acquisition Holdings, Inc., which is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company sponsored by CBRE. More information on the SPAC can be found here.

Prior to this role, Mr. Smith was CBRE’s Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. In this role, he is integrally involved in the company’s strategic projects and investments around the world, including the acquisition or more than 100 companies since 2012.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Smith was an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, structuring and negotiation of capital markets and advisory assignments across the real estate, gaming and lodging sectors. During this time, he evaluated and executed debt and equity offerings in excess of $12 billion and worked on numerous merger & acquisition transactions, including advising CBRE on its $1.2 billion acquisition of ING Bank’s leading global Real Estate Investment Management business. Previously, he was Global Real Estate Manager for Procter & Gamble, including leading P&G’s real estate division in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Smith received an M.B.A. from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
