He is also Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors MENA and Chair of the Lillian Sutton (SoC) Charitable Trust. He was named by Arabian Business as one of the 100 most influential people in the UAE in 2017; and named in 2018 one of the Top 100 Executives by Forbes Middle East.Maclean is a member of: the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House); the Institute of Revenue, Rating and Valuation; and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Over the past 10 years, Michael has headed up Advisory & Transaction services for CBRE across MENAT, with ultimate responsibility for overseeing transaction delivery throughout the region.

He provides strategic consulting services to private and institutional investors, developers, financiers, family offices, HNWI’s, owners and occupiers. Offering business strategies and frameworks, market research, feasibility, highest and best use studies for several infrastructure, real estate and industrial megaprojects throughout the region.

Lindsay has a wealth of Property and Asset Management experience acting for a diverse range of corporate clients including specialist REITs, Investment Funds and Privately-Owned Property Companies. Advising clients in all aspects of commercial property; shopping centre acquisition, asset management and value add strategy, setting and reviewing business plans as well as on going property management and service charge analysis. Lindsay has also provided key advice to her retail clients on repurposing strategy to assist diversify their portfolios in line with evolving market and consumer trends. Lindsay also has extensive experience delivering and implementing business plans for distressed portfolios across various asset classes throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Daniel McCulloch

Director, Head of Valuation
Daniel has extensive experience within the Middle East region, having been permanently based in Dubai since 2012. He specialises in valuation and development advisory and has undertaken transactional due diligence roles for major corporate transactions in the region. Daniel joined CBRE in March 2018 following ten years at Deloitte where he most recently lead their Middle East valuation assurance function, involving annual impairment reviews and speaking at IFRS events, with a particular focus on IFRS 13. Daniel’s wider role included real estate and business valuation engagements, market and financial feasibility studies and project feasibility review and challenge. His previous involvement with Deloitte’s wider financial advisory and audit functions provides insight into regional operational businesses, particularly in the tourism hospitality and leisure sectors
